Messner Mountain Museum

MMM RIPA at Brunico Castle is one of five South Tyrolean museums in which extreme mountaineer, Reinhold Messner, reveals the mountains and their inhabitants from various perspectives.

At Brunico Castle, the focus lies on the relationship between man and mountain in terms of culture, religion and tourism. The areas are shown using multimedia resources, such as films and exhibits, from and about the mountain peoples of Asia, Africa, South America and Europe.
